I heard the news that a French research institution had revealed that the amount of Cesium flowing into the sea was considered to be actually thirty times as high as that reported by TEPCO last May, two months after the devastating earthquake and the ensuing the tsunami and the accidents of nuclear plants. It's exactly what I thought. I thought it's absolutely impossible to measure the correct amount of spilling, and it's easily foreseeable that TEPCO estimated the amount as less as possible, to ease people's mind.

フランスの研究機関が、壊滅的な地震とそれに続いた津波そして原子力発電所の事故の２ヶ月あと、今年５月にTEPCOによって報告されていた量の実際には３０倍量のセシウムが、海に流れ出していたと考えられることを明らかにしたというニュースを聞きました。まさに僕が考えていたとおりでした。正確に流出量を計測するなんて絶対に無理だと思ったし、TEPCOが人々を安心させるためにできるだけ少なめに流出量を見積もることは容易に予測できたことです。
