Japan national football team won a match against Denmark at the group stage of the 2010 world cup.
In today's morning, waking up at 6, I turned on TV and watched a news program.
At first, I thought Japan lost the match because no newscasters referred to the match.
But after a while, the news reported that Japan won the match and reached the Round of 16 for the first time on a foreign land.
I was very surprised about it because I didn't expect that Japan would win the match.
I was very happy to hear the news and want Japan to win the next match, too!

わたしは とても おどろきました。 と いうのは、わたしは にほんが かつとは おもって いなかったからです。
わたしは その にゅーすを きいて とても うれしかったし、 にほんに つぎの しあいも かって もらいたいです。

今日の朝、私は６時に起きて、テレビのニュース番組を見ました。
最初、私は日本は試合に負けたと思いました。どのニュースキャスターもその試合について言及しなかったからです。
でもしばらくして、日本が試合に勝って、海外の地で初めて１６強に進出したと報じていました。
私はとても驚きました。というのは、私は日本が勝つとは思っていなかったからです。
私はそのニュースを聞いてとても嬉しかったし、日本に次の試合も勝ってもらいたいです。
